(TSI-Waived Program)
The Natural Gas Compression Certificate program is designed to develop the skills required to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot compression equipment used in natural gas systems. The curriculum builds on foundational knowledge with advanced training in mechanical systems, motor control, and compression operations.
tudents gain hands-on experience with engines, pumps, compressors, and mechanical drives, along with motor control and applied math skills relevant to field operations. Emphasis is placed on equipment performance, troubleshooting, and the ability to maintain reliable compressor operations in demanding environments.
Graduates are prepared to support compression technicians and operations personnel in maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable compressor sites across the natural gas industry.
