(TSI-Waived Program)
The Petroleum Technology Certificate program is designed to prepare students for entry-level roles in oil and gas production and field operations. The curriculum provides a foundational skill set in mechanical systems, electrical fundamentals, and safety practices required in the energy industry.
Students develop hands-on skills in hydraulics, basic electrical systems, and industry math, along with an introduction to energy operations and welding. Emphasis is placed on safe work practices, equipment awareness, and the ability to support field operations in production environments.
Graduates are prepared to enter the workforce in entry-level positions supporting oil and gas operations, with the knowledge and skills needed to assist in equipment operation, maintenance, and field activities.
