(TSI-Waived Program)
The Advanced Electrical Specialist program is designed to prepare students for advanced roles in industrial electrical systems and automation. The curriculum builds on foundational electrical knowledge with focused training in programmable logic controllers (PLCs), motors and transformers, advanced electrical concepts, and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
Students develop hands-on skills in PLC programming, electrical system analysis, and troubleshooting complex control circuits. Emphasis is placed on diagnosing and repairing industrial electrical systems, understanding power distribution, and ensuring code compliance in real-world applications.
Graduates are prepared to support advanced electrical and automation systems in industrial environments, with the technical skills needed for troubleshooting, maintenance, and system integration.
