(TSI-Waived Program)
The Compressor Technician program is designed to prepare students for specialized roles in the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of natural gas compression equipment. The curriculum focuses on compression systems, equipment performance, and the skills required to maintain reliable compressor operations in the field.
Students develop hands-on experience with compression processes, system components, and troubleshooting techniques used to diagnose and repair equipment issues. Emphasis is placed on equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and safe work practices in compressor environments.
Graduates are prepared to support compression operations and maintenance teams responsible for maintaining compressor stations and ensuring consistent system performance in the natural gas industry.
