(TSI-Waived Program)
The Electrical Specialist program is designed to prepare students for entry-level roles in industrial electrical systems and automation. The curriculum builds a foundation in electrical theory, motor control, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs), combined with introductory instrumentation used in industrial and energy applications.
Students develop hands-on skills in wiring, control circuits, and PLC programming, along with the ability to monitor and troubleshoot basic automated systems. Training emphasizes the integration of electrical components and instrumentation to support equipment operation and process control.
Graduates are prepared to enter the workforce in roles supporting industrial maintenance, electrical systems, and automation processes, with the technical knowledge needed to assist in installation, troubleshooting, and system operation.
