Auditing classes allows individuals to attend classes for personal enrichment without earning credit, grades, or fulfilling assignment requirements. Permission to audit a course is sometimes granted by the Vice President of Student Services. An Application for Audit may be obtained in the Admissions/Records Office. Students may register to audit a class only after regular registration is complete and only if space is available in a course. Tuition and fees are the same for auditing as those charged for credit enrollment. Names of persons auditing will not be entered in registration records or on class rolls. No permanent records will be kept of the student’s audit experience. Physical education activity classes and applied music classes may not be audited.
