Under the Texas Women's Privacy Act (Senate Bill 8, effective December 4, 2025), Panola College assigns all multiple-occupancy restrooms, locker rooms, and changing areas for use only by individuals of the same biological sex. Employees and students should use the facility that matches their biological sex, as required by the state law. Failure to follow this requirement will result in disciplinary action in accordance with College policy. Family restrooms are also available for private use. Reasonalbe accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities, young children, elderly individuals requiring assistance, custodial or maintenance purposes, medical or law-enforcement emergencies, or other limited circumstances as permitted by law.
