The Electrical & Instrumentation program is designed to prepare students for careers in industrial electrical systems, automation, and process control. The curriculum develops a strong foundation in electrical theory, commercial wiring, and motor control, followed by advanced training in motors and transformers, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), instrumentation, and SCADA systems.
Students gain hands-on experience with electrical systems, automation platforms, and process instrumentation used to monitor and control industrial operations. Emphasis is placed on industrial troubleshooting, system integration, and the ability to diagnose and repair electrical and control system failures in real-world environments.
Safety, reliability, and system uptime are reinforced throughout the program. Graduates are prepared for careers in manufacturing, oil and gas, and other industrial sectors where electrical and control systems are critical to production.
