The Associate of Science (AS) program is an academic transfer degree designed for students who will ultimately be pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree at a four-year college/university. Examples of this type of four-year degree are Mathematics and Criminal Justice.
Panola College offers several specific Associate of Science degrees, but also offers a generalized degree that will not list a specific major. The generalized AS pathways are essentially the first- and second-year equivalent of many bachelor degrees.
